DISCOVER

THE MUSIC

IMALI is an exploration of ambition, resilience, and self-worth. The album delves into the journey of overcoming personal struggles, discovering self-love, and navigating the complexities of life. With its raw, powerful vocals and impactful storytelling, IMALI is a testament to my growth as an artist and as an individual.

The album’s title, “Imali,” which translates to “money” in isiXhosa, symbolizes the pursuit of dreams, not just financially, but in terms of personal fulfillment and finding value in one’s purpose.

For me it was about taking my power back and not letting the illusion of life and its hurdles define me or my path.

In 2020 I won a SAMA for best female artist of the year just a few months after its release, which was such a great accolade.
